From 29 May to 1 June, the delegation of Chinese enterprises based in UK led by Minister Counsellor Jin Xu visited Northern Ireland, Consul General WANG Shuying accompanied the delegation throughout the visit.

During the visit, the delegation met Head of NI Civil Service Malcolm McKibbin, Lord Mayor of Belfast Alderman Brian Kingston, and CEO of Invest NI Alastair Hamilton; visited Giant Park and Belfast Harbour. The delegation was briefed on NI economic situation and local industries by Invest NI, Belfast City Council and Londonderry City Council, and extensively explored the potential for further economic and trade cooperation between NI and these Chinese enterprises.
