On 2 July 2015, Consul General Wang Shuying attended China Health-care and Life Sciences Roadshow 2015, hosted by Invest Northern Ireland. In her remarks, Wang Shuying stressed that deepening of the health reform in China has provided new opportunity for cooperation in relevant area between China and the UK as well as Northern Ireland. President Xi Jinping’s upcoming state visit to UK in October will start a new era to China-UK relations and inject strong impetus to the bilateral cooperation in various fields. The Consulate-General will work together with various sectors in Northern Ireland to make new ground in the friendly cooperation between both sides.

Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment of Northern Ireland Jonathan Bell also attended the event and delivered remarks.
